Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Aura, HapticCore Studio, HapticCore Preview, or our websites, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the services. If you use Aura on behalf of a studio, trailer house, or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Operator & Publisher

Aura — including the iOS app, Android app, websites, and related cloud services — is owned, developed, and published by:

App Store and Play Store listings for Aura identify this company as the publisher. Product names such as Aura, HapticCore Studio, and HapticCore Preview are brands used by TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED; they do not create a separate contracting party unless we say so in writing.

3. Platform & Services

• Aura (iOS & Android): haptic video streaming, Shorts, Worlds, and optional Aura Plus features.
• HapticCore Studio: desktop software for authoring Apple .ahap patterns in sync with video.
• HapticCore Preview: companion app for live tactile QA on a phone over local Wi-Fi.
• Web consoles: marketing site, creator admin, ads manager, and account billing.

4. Accounts & Security

• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your credentials. Notify us immediately at support@auraversion.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Cancellation

5.1 App Store & Google Play

• Mobile subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their store terms. TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED does not process your card details for those purchases.
• Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
• Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

5.2 Organization & web billing

• Studio seats and web plans are billed per your order form, invoice, or in-product checkout (including Razorpay where offered).
• Fees are non-refundable except as stated in a written agreement or required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your content

You retain ownership of footage, audio, and haptic patterns you create or import. We do not claim ownership of your .ahap files or media.

6.2 License to operate Aura

If you publish content on Aura, you grant TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transcode, stream, and display that content solely to operate and promote the service according to your settings.

6.3 Our software and marks

The Aura and HapticCore software, interfaces, trademarks, and code are owned by TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer that ownership to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or stream content that infringes others' rights.
• Reverse engineer proprietary binaries except where the law allows.
• Circumvent licensing, security, or payment systems.
• Distribute malware or abuse the APIs with scrapers or bots without permission.

8. Haptic Sensory Advisory

Aura and HapticCore Preview produce vibration through device hardware (including the Apple Taptic Engine). If you feel discomfort, turn haptics off in the player or system settings. Consult a physician before intense continuous vibration if you use a pacemaker or similar implant.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURA AND RELATED PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TECHPOD AI DATASERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE EQUIVALENT IN INDIAN RUPEES.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Aura and close your account at any time. Licenses granted to you end on termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
